Call for Posters: RPI QC Ribbon Cutting and Bicentennial Ceremony

The poster session at the upcoming quantum computer ribbon-cutting ceremony and bicentennial ceremony is an opportunity for the RPI community to showcase its computing capabilities. Submissions for posters must include either:

  1. Original research in quantum computing, computational science and engineering, computing architectures, chip design, HPC, ML/AI, and other areas related to classical and quantum computing.
  2. A demonstration of how you have utilized the quantum computing resources available at Rensselaer.

Posters will be on display in EMPAC from April 3-5, 2024. The poster session will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Presenters are encouraged to accompany their posters for the duration of the session.

The deadline for submission is Saturday, March 30, 11:59 PM. Both portrait and landscape formats are acceptable (36”x48” or 48”x36”).

Posters must include the following information:

  • Title of research
  • Name of RPI person submitting the poster
  • Names and affiliations of collaborators
  • RPI email
  • Major and Program

Selection Criteria:

Posters must be submitted by a student, staff, or faculty member at RPI and feature high-quality original research. Submissions must be accompanied by a short abstract (up to 300 words) for the review process. The person submitting the poster will be notified of acceptance.

Printing and Mounting:

Accepted posters will be printed and mounted by the ceremony organizers.

If your poster was accepted for the RPI-IBM FCRC event, please indicate so in your abstract PDF to avoid reprinting.
